MenoCompass is a symptom tracking and wellness education app. All your data stays on your device — we do not collect, store, or transmit your personal health information to any server. No account required.
- Information We Collect
MenoCompass does not require an account and does not collect personal information. The only data we may receive is:
- Anonymised crash reports and basic usage diagnostics via Apple’s standard frameworks, to help us fix bugs
- Purchase confirmation from Apple when you buy the app (we receive no payment details — this is handled entirely by Apple)
All symptom logs and health data you enter remain exclusively on your device and are never transmitted to us or any third party.
- How We Use Your Information
Because all your data stays on your device, we have no access to your symptom logs or health information. The limited anonymised diagnostics we may receive from Apple are used solely to identify and fix technical issues in the app. We do not use any data for advertising and do not share anything with marketing partners.
- Health Data
All health and symptom data you enter is stored locally on your device only. It is never uploaded to our servers, shared with third parties, or accessible to us in any form. If you delete the app, all associated data is permanently removed from your device.
MenoCompass is not a medical device and does not provide diagnoses or treatment recommendations. Always consult your healthcare provider for medical advice.
- Third-Party Services
MenoCompass uses one third-party service:
- Apple App Store — handles payment processing for the one-time purchase. We receive no financial or personal data from this transaction.
Beyond Apple’s standard App Store infrastructure, no other third-party services receive your data.
- Data Retention
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you are in full control of it at all times. To delete all your data, simply delete the app from your device — no account deletion process required, no server-side data to request removal of.
- Children’s Privacy
MenoCompass is designed for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
- Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details below and we will respond within 30 days.
- Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of MenoCompass after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
